Impact on Quality of Life of Patients Treated by Different File Systems for Root Canal Treatment

Abstract Introduction The outcomes of oral health conditions and therapy for those are described by the term “oral health-related quality life.” Oral life is recognized World Health Organization as an important part Global Program. study aims to compare impact three root canal preparation systems on patients’ correlate postoperative pain with life. Materials Methods A survey was performed in which 90 patients were randomly assigned groups based system: (1) ProTaper Gold (Dentsply, Tulsa Dental Specialties, Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States), (2) Neoendo flex (Neoendo, India), (3) Hyflex EDM/CM (Coltene Whaledent) that included 30 participants each group. Data collection implementation a demographic data questionnaire, Impact Profile 14 (quality life), visual analogue scale(pain). questionnaire given after treatment first 24 hours. obtained statistically analyzed. Results No significant differences found among groups. Group 1 demonstrated highly difference p value 2.67. Conclusion Within limitations present study, Protaper showed when compared other file systems.
